Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA) meeting was held in Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad under the chairmanship of President Mohsin Ejaz. Various important decisions on organizational issues were discused in the meeting.
President (RISJA) Mohsin Ejaz briefed the House about the recovery of the funds from former chairman RISJA.
On this occasion every member was given an opportunity to talk about the activities and the awards ceremony, it was decided that the award ceremony will be held in Islamabad with the dates to be decided later. The house unanimously elected Wafa Abass Finance Secretary and Zubair Ali as Information Secretary.
The House approved various activities for members of the RSJA, it was decided on this occasion that new membership will be opened soon.
The sports committee will work under the leadership of Faisal Sahi while its members are Naveed Khokhar and Dr. Muhammad, Expenditure Committee will be headed by Chairman Raza Abid and the members are Faisal Bega and Abbas Shabbir, Procurement, Legal Committee will be headed by Asghar Ali Mubarak. Ayaz Akbar told the house that a cricket match between SJAL and RISJA is scheduled in Lahore next week. The House approved the points of the previous meeting and approved the final list of members. On this occasion, the House passed a resolution regarding the efforts of Secretary Kashif Abbasi and President Mohsin Ijaz and thanked them.
