On the appeal of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, there will be a nationwide protest against the Sweden incident after the Friday prayer today.
The Prime Minister says, “The world will be told that this.”
If the intolerable act happens again, none of us should complain”, “They want to create division in the whole world by burning the Holy Word”.
The best forum to raise this issue is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The entire Islamic world is raising its voice on it.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that he is trying to contact the Secretary General of the United Nations. The Secretary General of the United Nations should call an urgent meeting of the United Nations on this matter.
“Patience doesn’t mean we don’t know how to respond.”
Earlier, during the weekly briefing today, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office of Pakistan, the representative Asghar Ali Mubarak, asked that “Pakistan has played a strong role at the international level regarding Islamophobia, especially Islamophobia on March 15.” It was on the demand of Pakistan in the United Nations to declare it as an international day to deal with Will Pakistan raise its voice with the OIC and the United Nations regarding the recent Islamophobic incidents?
In response to which the spokesperson of the Foreign Office of Pakistan said that “Pakistan has raised this question in the United Nations Human Rights Council”.
“Pakistan is the coordinator of the OIC group in Geneva and as such we [Pakistan] have requested a special meeting of the council.”
“Similarly, we have expressed our concern in the OIC meetings in Jeddah and this concern is well known to the rest of the world.” To another question, he said that Pakistan has good diplomatic relations with Sweden, like in the past we have expressed our concerns with the Swedish authorities on this incident. I can confirm that “we discussed this incident with the Swedish charge d’affaires in Islamabad and expressed our concerns about Islamophobia and Quran burning. Our dialogue with Sweden will continue.” We will continue to express our concerns with the Swedish government. Pakistan has brought the matter to the OIC. And as the coordinator of the OIC in Geneva, we have raised this issue at the UN Human Rights Council, where we have raised concerns about Koran burning, Islamophobia, and the deliberate targeting of Muslims and the sentiments of Muslims around the world. A special discussion has been called for.
Earlier, in his opening remarks, the spokesperson said that Pakistan is celebrating the Holy Quran Day, we strongly condemn the heinous acts of publicly burning the Holy Quran in Sweden and other European countries. We believe that such deliberate incitement to discrimination, hatred and violence under the guise of freedom of expression cannot be justified. The recurrence of such Islamophobic incidents raises serious questions about the legal framework that allows hate-based acts.
As a leading member of the OIC, Pakistan has demanded an urgent discussion on this important issue in the United Nations Human Rights Council. We also call for credible and concrete measures to curb the growing incidence of xenophobia, Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hatred.”
It should be remembered that earlier in the joint session of the Parliament, a resolution was passed against the Sweden incident. On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the House should form a committee to give recommendations to end such heinous acts in the future. The committee made recommendations in forums around the world. They further said that the heinous act in Sweden should be condemned with full force. Why did the Swedish government allow such an incident to happen?
Addressing the joint session of the Parliament under the chairmanship of Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Shahbaz Sharif said that we respect all religions, Islamophobia and fire against Islam is increasing. The hearts of billions of Muslims are saddened by this incident.
The prime minister further said that the Sweden incident is a conspiracy to make Muslims and Christians fight, the whole world should be told that it cannot be tolerated in any way. The mischief should be a lesson, all political parties should strongly protest against this incident.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the former Prime Minister of New Zealand embraced Muslims, the former Prime Minister of New Zealand gave full protection to Muslims, the actions of Jacinda Arden will always be remembered by the Muslim community.
The Prime Minister said that I am trying to contact the Secretary General of the United Nations. The Secretary General of the United Nations should call an urgent meeting of the United Nations on this matter. Patience does not mean that we do not know how to answer it. Prime Minister Shehbaz says that honor and dignity of Holy Quran is a part of our faith, we are all one for it, misguided minds are following a nefarious agenda by spreading the negative trend of Islamophobia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appealed to the entire nation, including all parties, to participate in the protest and said that the entire nation will be one language and give a message to the evil minds.
The forces that believe in peaceful, balanced and interfaith harmony at the global level should work together to remedy such trends and incidents.
It should be noted that yesterday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the Swedish government should take disciplinary action against the criminals who desecrate the Holy Quran and try hard to stop such incidents. Addressing the Federal Cabinet meeting in Islamabad, the entire Muslim Ummah strongly condemned the incident in Sweden, the Pakistani government supports the decision of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and it is hoped that in the future it will Such an event will not happen.
The Prime Minister said that the entire Muslim Ummah, the Pakistani nation strongly condemns the incident that happened in Sweden and we demand immediate action against the criminals. The Prime Minister said that unfortunately this is the first such incident. This is not the case, there have been such heartbreaking incidents before and it has come to light that the Pakistani government is not only strongly condemning the narrative of hatred against the Muslims living in Sweden, but also Sweden. Demands the government to take full notice of these incidents.
The Prime Minister says that the cloak of freedom of expression cannot be used to hurt the religious sentiments of one and a half billion Muslims around the world. “This is unacceptable.”
The Prime Minister had said that I am very satisfied that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has called an emergency meeting on this and in this meeting, this action was strongly condemned, but it was demanded that not only strict action should be taken against the criminals, but also in the future. Such incidents should be prevented.
It should be noted that OIC Secretary General Hussain Ibrahim Taha has said that “all Islamic countries should take collective measures to prevent incidents of insulting the Holy Quran and the Prophet of Islam”. “The desecration and desecration of the Holy Quran and the Prophet of Islam cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.” This requires the immediate application of international law, which prevents the spread of hatred.
Secretary General OIC emphasized that all Islamic countries should adopt a common strategy and take concrete measures to prevent such incidents.
It should be noted that all the Muslim countries including Pakistan strongly condemned the heinous act of desecration of Holy Quran in Sweden.
Muslims are protesting all over the world over the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and rallies are being held in many countries.
The OIC statement warned of the seriousness of such actions, saying they undermine mutual respect and harmony among peoples, while promoting values such as tolerance and moderation and rejecting extremism. At odds with international efforts,
The declaration urged the governments of the countries concerned to prevent these ‘heinous attacks’, including condemning all attempts to desecrate the Qur’an and other Islamic values, symbols and sanctities, and to take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. pick up
The OIC reiterated the obligation of all countries under the Charter of the United Nations to respect and promote the observance of human and fundamental rights without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion. The right to freedom of expression should be exercised responsibly and in accordance with relevant international human rights laws.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation emphasized the importance of promoting dialogue, understanding and cooperation among religions, cultures and civilizations for world peace and harmony.
The European Union has also strongly rejected the incident, calling it an “aggressive, insulting and provocative act”. It should be noted that on June 28, 37-year-old Silwan Momika asked the police for permission to burn the pages of the Holy Quran in order to ‘express his opinion’ about the Holy Quran.

Before the protest, the man had told news agency ‘TT’ that he wanted to highlight the importance of freedom of expression. This is democracy, if they tell us we can’t do it, it’s in jeopardy.
In the presence of a heavy police presence and surrounded by people protesting the practice in Arabic, the man shouted through a megaphone to dozens of people. Addressed the crowd.
The man threw the Holy Quran on the ground and set fire to the papers while waving the Swedish flag.
Earlier this year, a leader of a far-right Danish party, Palvden, placed a copy of the Holy Quran in front of a mosque in Denmark. After that, Muslims all over the world were outraged.
On January 21, he desecrated a copy of the Holy Quran by burning a copy of the Holy Quran while committing a similar act during a protest against Islam and immigration in front of the Turkish Embassy in Sweden.
